Although having travelled extensively in Australia I had never been to Tasmania so I planned a road trip around this island in April of 2019. The circular route that I took started and finished in the Hobart area and went counter-clockwise around the island stopping at key locations to explore the national parks and other wilderness areas covering a total of around 1,240 km over 13 days.
This book provides a fantastic circular route to follow if you are planning a trip around Tasmania and covers many of the key places to visit in the various regions of this diverse island. The photos should offer some great insight into what to expect and give you inspiration to visit the many wilderness areas of Tasmania.
